Meet Cassie Donahue, Ed.D., LAT, ATC
Injury Prevention Specialist
I am a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with nine years of collegiate athletics experience providing emergency care such as reduction of joint dislocations, performing musculoskeletal evaluations to address injury prevention and rehabilitation, and implementing rehabilitation plans for athletes. I have enjoyed the transition from caring for athletes during season play to caring for patients who are recovering from injury or addressing chronic illness. This has been rewarding, and I am excited to continue to build positive and trusting relationships with patients at PRISM in order to help them reach their goals. I am a lifelong learner, and my two-month preceptorship with Dr. Zingman and the PRISM team has allowed me to expand my knowledge base and skill set while PRISM’s team approach has enabled me to bring my own experiences to this patient population. The collaborative and personalized approach this team strives for allows us to develop and implement a treatment plan specific to you and your goals. I am excited to utilize my Doctorate in Education to build informational tools for patients for home exercise programs, self-evaluation of subluxations, self-care such as cupping, ergonomics, and more.
I am originally from Western Maryland, and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, playing soccer, whitewater rafting and hanging out with my cat, Milo. I am happy to be part of PRISM, where I can work a team of collaborative and caring professionals to make a positive impact on patient’s lives.
