Meet Theresa Quarcoopome, DPT
Physical Therapist
My focus as a physical therapist lies in the use of manual and neuromuscular techniques to provide pain relief and improve joint placement. This will, in turn, allow me to provide my patients with individualized exercise prescription and begin their progression toward functional improvement.
After graduating from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Maryland, School of Medicine. I have work experience in out-patient orthopedics, geriatric care, in acute care at Mercy Medical Center and in sports physical therapy at UnderArmour headquarters-FX Physical Therapy.
I am passionate about connecting with patients on both a personal and professional level and to empower them with knowledge of how their alignment and physical mechanics can improve their daily life. I am dedicated to ongoing learning about EDS and new research so that I can provide our clients and their families with up-to-date information and treatment modalities.
When not in the office, I can be found watching movies with friends and family, cooking, solving difficult jigsaw puzzles, taking part in activities with my church (engaging in church fellowship) and planning fantastic trips to take in the future!
