Meet Heather Cramer, DAT, LAT, ATC, CMP
Rehabilitation Manager
I am excited to join PRISM with 23 years of experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, collegiate, professional, and high school sports, as well as military. Most recently I was a civilian contractor with USMC, imbedded in an Infantry Regiment focused on injury prevention and performance enhancement as well as management of musculoskeletal injuries of active-duty Marines. Over the years I have learned a wide variety of treatment paradigms and manual therapy techniques, specializing in gait analysis, Mulligan Concept, Myokinestheics, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Visceral Mobilization. I strive to provide the best possible care for my patients and help them return to doing what they enjoy.
I obtained my Bachelors degree in Health and Human Performance from George Fox University in Oregon, a Masters degree in Biomechanics and Sports Psychology from Cal State, Sacramento, and a Clinical Doctorate of Athletic Training from University of Idaho. I look forward to utilizing my knowledge and skills to work with the patients of PRISM and help them achieve a better degree of living. I believe everyone can progress and continue to do something they love in life.
I am a California country girl from the mountains of Northern California and relocated to Maryland this year with my boyfriend. Our spare time is spent hiking, running, and exploring historical sights of the East Coast. We also enjoy traveling, reading and watching movies.
